We are deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Edwin Feulner, our esteemed Chairman Emeritus, cherished colleague, and dear friend. Ed was a towering figure in American public life, whose boundless energy, sharp intellect, and unwavering commitment to American ideals shaped generations of public policy and conservative thought. His contributions leave a legacy that will endure for decades to come.

He began his public policy career as a fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and the Hoover Institution at Stanford University—but it was in 1973 that Ed founded what would become one of the world’s most influential conservative think tanks, The Heritage Foundation. Ed also recognized the vital importance of bipartisan collaboration, which inspired his role in establishing Potomac International Partners as a truly bipartisan practice.
Over the course of his life, Ed remained a tireless advocate for America’s founding principles, both in Washington and on the world stage. In recognition of his service, President Ronald Reagan awarded him the Presidential Citizens Medal in 1989. Even in his eighties, Ed continued trotting around the globe with the same passion and purpose that defined his entire career.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda, their two children, and his treasured grandchildren. Ed embodied the phrase he often invoked with conviction and optimism: "Onward. Always." We at Potomac International Partners will honor his memory by carrying that spirit forward in everything we do.
