Ken Loy

Ken Loy is an accomplished industry executive and a decorated U.S. Marine Corps veteran. As a combat pilot, a test pilot and chief executive of two companies in the Defense industry, Ken’s roles have spanned the lifecycle of programs as a military operator and a business executive. He has worked for major defense companies, including Lockheed Martin Corporation and Engility Corporation. With his combined knowledge of Policy, Budgeting, Government Contracting, Technology and military operations, he helps companies develop business strategies and targeted customer engagement plans. He specializes in corporate turn-arounds, private equity roll-ups, and Foreign Ownership Control and Influence (FOCI) mitigation.


Ken has managed programs in aviation, ship systems, command and control systems, unmanned systems, RF and electro-optical sensors, professional services, physical security, and open source intelligence analytics. He has worked with each of the military services, several different government agencies and the Intelligence Community.


Most recently, Ken was President of a British-owned, U.S.-based aircraft maintenance and integration company where he started its North Carolina business. Prior to that, Ken was the CEO of a German-owned, U.S. subsidiary which delivered sensor solutions to the U.S. Department of Defense and other government agencies. He negotiated and then operated the latter company under a Special Security Agreement with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Ken is experienced in international trade regulation compliance and is active in several industry associations.
