Tadeu Carneiro

Tadeu Carneiro, a senior advisor to Potomac International Partners (Potomac) for Brazil, joins Potomac to assist clients identify, pursue and service business opportunities in Brazil and the United States.

Mr. Carneiro is Chief Executive Officer of Boston Electrometallurgical Corporation, an invited lecturer in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a part-time lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Tufts University in Massachusetts, USA.

Before retiring as Chief Executive Officer of Companhia Brasileira de Metalurgia e Mineração (CBMM) in December 2016, Mr. Carneiro spent 30 years with the company in progressively senior leadership positions.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining in the United Kingdom.  He is a Director on the Canada-based Ivanhoe Mines Board and also a board member with Canada-based Sigma Lithium Resources and of SBSHSL Hospital in São Paulo, Brazil.
